From The Pastor's Desk Gracious To be gracious to someone is to treat them with kindness, tenderness, and love. To be gracious to someone is to be concerned about their thoughts, their feelings, and their life. God is gracious because God is concerned. To understand gracious, you must understand the word grace. Grace is defined as "God's Riches At Christ's Expense." We are given the riches of God through Jesus and our relationship to Him. Because of the concern God has for each of us, we are treated with kindness, gentleness, and love. Out of love and concern for you and me, Jesus was born, lived, died, buried, and resurrected. Grace is paired in on every believer, because God wants us to enjoy the goodness that comes with salvation and family membership. God is gracious, God is concerned, God is forgiving, God is gentle and tender. God is all these things and more, because God is Love. The riches of God through Jesus the Savior, you can't be treated any better than that. I serve a God filled with grace, because I serve a God filled with love. In the name of my Savior Jesus, I lift my hands to praise you for the way I was treated at the hands of God. PRAYER: I serve a God filled with grace, because I serve a God filled with love. In the name of my Savior Jesus, I lift my hands to praise you for the way I was treated at the hands of God.
